A *Slight* Misunderstanding

There are a lot of things that somewhat amaze me.  But the one thing that amazes me the most is what people say.  Now, mind you, the swearing and sexual innuendos don't amaze me as much.  I hear those at work.  There's nothing new there.  Something that would amaze me though, is when people, Christians in this case, would say something like "Christ took the weight of your sin, and died on the cross for you."
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely believe that He did.  But what most people don't understand about that, is exactly what they just said.  Let's apply factual weight to a sin, say, a pound.  If Christ took the weight of your sin(at just one pound a piece), then how heavy would the weight be?   And now, to put it in a bigger perspective, if Christ died for the world, in past, present, and future times, how many times, to the whatever power, would that weight be multiplied?  Do you see where I'm going with this?
It gives you a whole different perspective on just how much love God and Christ(both seperate and unified) had for Their children.  Christ was willing to go to the cross for a bunch of misfits that don't deserve a one-hundreth of what He has to offer.  And, if God LET His one and only Son die, how much more love does He have for us?
It just goes to put into perspective what we've been given, despite the fact that sometimes, we don't see it even if it is plain as day in our faces.
